Trenera
Dimitar Gavrilov was the club's first captain and the man who gave it his life. The stadium and the tournament carry his name.
Dimitar Genkov Gavrilov was born on 10 October 1958. He finished the Dr Ivan Panov secondary school in Berkovitsa and worked at the Kom plant. In 1974 he became the first captain of the new team.
In 1987 he took over all the coaching at the club. For a few years at the end of the 1990s his pupil Ivan Stoyanov, known as Bari, followed him, and in 2001 Gavrilov came back. His youth sides won title after title. In 2004 the men's team was formed again on his initiative.
He died on 7 September 2009, aged 50. His wife Tanya, his daughter Zina and his son Georgi stayed close to rugby in the town. Georgi plays for the club.
